For Okanagan contractors

Contractor network standards

Review the communication, business-information, insurance, qualification, and independent-contractor expectations for participating providers.

Approval is based on the information available and does not transfer a contractor’s professional responsibilities to the platform.

Accurate business information

Provide your legal or operating business name, current contact information, services, territory, project minimum and website or public business page when available.

Insurance, licences and qualifications

Keep insurance and required business licences current. Trade qualifications and permits depend on the work and jurisdiction; participating contractors remain responsible for confirming and meeting every applicable requirement.

Clear homeowner communication

Respond when you accept an opportunity, identify your company, clarify missing information, provide written scope and terms when quoting, and avoid pressure or misleading claims.

Independent responsibility

Participating providers are independent businesses. They control inspections, recommendations, estimates, contracts, schedules, safety, permits, employees, subcontractors, payment terms, warranties and completed work.

Requirements vary by project and jurisdiction. Contractors should confirm current information with the applicable municipality, WorkSafeBC, Technical Safety BC, and other relevant authorities.
